Pay-as-you-go (PAYG) means your organization pays for the Copilot Credits it actually consumes. Prepaid packs are the alternative. It requires linking an Azure subscription and a billing policy, which usually needs an admin. You care because pay-as-you-go avoids the hard shutoff that hits prepaid capacity at 125% overage.
